Andrei Arshavin has experienced quite a rollercoaster ride in his football career. Excited reactions greeted his signing with Arsenal. It took two days for the public to learn about the deal that his parent club and Arsenal concluded in the last moments of the player transfer window. Regarding the transfer's actual completion date, fans were left in the dark. At last, Arshavin appeared in front of a small group of his team's fans outside a frigid stadium and famously yelled, "I am Gooner." Arshavin had exceptional games in his early matches. On the pitch, he made few moves, but with a single touch, he could do more than some of his teammates could in twenty.

Andrei Arshavin caused quite a stir in his football journey. When Andrey Arshavin signed for Arsenal, he caused quite a fanfare. After spending presumably the entire month negotiating, during the final moments of the January 2008 transfer window, a deal appeared to be struck between Arsenal and Zenit St Petersburg for Arshavin's signature.

It was announced two days after the window shut. In fact, given that the deal was not announced until around two days after the window shut, who knows when the transfer was concluded? Eventually, though, a slightly bemused Arshavin appeared in front of a small crowd of Arsenal fans outside a freezing Emirates stadium, and uttered his immortal words: "I am Gooner."

Neves has been the subject of interest from a number of sides for some time. The main names that keep cropping up are United, Arsenal and Barcelona. Indeed, a move to any of those sides would be a step up for the Portuguese. It would seem deserved, too, given how influential he has been since joining Wolves.

Andrei Arshavin scored 17 times in 75 appearances for the Russian senior team before he retired from the international scene in 2012. He spent a decade with the team having made his debut on May 17, 2002. Andrei Arshavin was overlooked for the first two major tournaments on the back of his debut for the Russian senior team. He misses out on both the 2002 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2004 tournaments.

Andrei Arshavinspent several years at Zenit Saint Petersburg before he signed for Premier League side Arsenal during the 2009 winter transfer window. The diminutive attacker attracted interest from a lot of clubs shortly after the Euro 2008 tournament, but he didn't leave Zenit immediately. He was one of the best players at Euro 2008 as Russia reached the last four of the tournament.

Andrei Arshavin began his career as a professional footballer at Zenit Saint Peters burg in his native Russia. He joined Zenit at a young age before graduating through the various youth teams to make his first team debut in 2000. At Zenit Saint Peters burg, he won several Russian Premier League titles.

He won the first of his three Russian Premier League titles at Zenit in 2007. The second Russian Premier League title was won at the end of the 2011/12 season when he was on loan at the club from Premier League heavyweights Arsenal. The third and final Russian Premier League title happened during the 2014/15 season when he had already completed a permanent move back to Zenit from Arsenal.
