Unai Emery opens the door for Mesut Ozil to make Arsenal comeback

Ozil has nearly two years remaining on his current Gunners contract and he has recently
told The Athletic that he has no plans of parting ways with the club anytime soon. The German has made just one league appearance this term but he could make a comeback for the forthcoming game against Sheffield United after participating for the Gunners during a closed-doors friendly against Reading during the international break. The midfielder’s workrate has often been a questioning factor over the past 14 months and it remains to be seen whether the German can make the most of the opportunities during the coming weeks such that he can retain a regular starting role under Emery.
