Andrei Arshavin stated that he is currently happy to be playing for FC Kairat.

The player is currently in form despite reaching his 35th birthday. The former Arsenal forward has managed to make 25 appearances for the club out of which 4 have been in the Europa League.

Many pundits believed that Arshavin was heading towards the end of his career when he moved to FC Kairat but the player has shown that he is still a good player on the pitch. This is impressive when you know that Arshavin had spent six months on the bench when he signed for FC Kuban Krasnodar. Indeed the player had a bad moment at the club and refused to play for them.

It is only after his move to FC Kairat that Andrei Arshavin has been able to play regularly and recover his form. He has helped the team reach the second round of the Europa League this season where they were eliminated by Israel club Maccabi Tel Aviv. There is nothing to be ashamed of this defeat as the Israel club is a team that is used to participating in the Champions League.

Andrei Arshavin has made a formidable impact at FC Kairat as he helped the team recover from a disappointing start to the season. Arshavin has adapted himself well to his new team and has rapidly established himself as an important playmaker for the team.

The player said that he is happy playing with FC Kairat and that he wants to end his career with the team. He admitted that there is a big difference between the infrastructures in Kazakhstan and the ones in England. He said that this does not matter to him and that he is happy with the team at the moment.
